Four Seasons at Forbush:

Expanding Opportunities, Advancing the Legacy

Summer Work at Forbush

Moving Forward

Over the past two years, we have been working hard to enhance the Nordic skiing experience at Forbush and to develop mountain bike trails for summer use. Our goal has been to upgrade facilities and infrastructure, expand snowmaking, and—as noted above—add new mountain bike trails.

To achieve these objectives, we set a fundraising target of $1,000,000. Thanks to contributions, sponsorships, and grants, we are already more than halfway to reaching that goal.

Significant progress has been made: additional snowmaking was installed last year, the equipment garage was expanded and resided, and new vault toilets were added. Inside the ski center, we built a changing room with a baby changing station, remodeled the ski school area, and constructed the first mile of mountain bike trails with professional builders. Looking ahead, each additional mile of trail is expected to cost about $40,000.

2025/2026 Donor List

The collective support from individuals and businesses listed here is fundamental to everything we achieve. These generous gifts are far more than donations; they are a critical investment in the operational excellence and long-term vitality of Forbush Corner Nordic.

Memorial Gifts

Like Dave Forbush, many individuals share a deep passion for the outdoors and Nordic skiing. To honor the legacy of some of these remarkable individuals, the following memorial contributions have been made:

  • In Memory of Howard Feit By Dr. Elizabeth Angus Bachynski and Dr. Brian Bachynski – $7,500
  • In Memory of Howard Feit By Mary McKinley – $2,500
  • In Memory of Fred Derksen By Mat Reeves and John Kruger – $500

Memorial contributions like these serve a dual purpose: they honor the memory of loved ones while supporting meaningful causes. By directing funds toward Forbush Corner these gifts help sustain and grow programs that align with the passions and values of those being remembered.

Such memorials create a lasting legacy, enabling families, friends, and the community to contribute to something greater than themselves. They provide an opportunity to celebrate lives well-lived while making a tangible difference in preserving and enhancing outdoor spaces, fostering community, and promoting activities like Nordic skiing for generations to come.
