Forbush Freestyle

The Forbush Freestyle is the second of three Michigan Cup races hosted each season at Forbush Corner Nordic. As a highlight of the racing calendar, this year’s event will also serve as the Michigan Cup Freestyle Championship. The race will feature an approximately 16 km course for senior skiers and a 5 km course for juniors and those seeking a shorter distance, with exact routes tailored to the season's snow conditions. With 3.3 km of trails now equipped with snowmaking, Forbush Corner is uniquely prepared to guarantee excellent skiing and a consistent racing surface regardless of the weather. When natural snow is abundant, racers will also have the opportunity to traverse the expansive 30 km trail system, including the scenic and challenging terrain of the West side. The Forbush Freestyle is about more than the finish line; it is about embracing the heart of winter and coming together as a skiing community.
